We are recruiting a Programme Manager who will be based in our satellite field site, in Northern Bahr el Ghazal State. They will work alongside a base team in Aweil and will report to the Area Coordinator. Technical guidance for this position will be provided by the Programme Coordinator in our Country Programme Office in Juba. The programmes in this area (which the Programme Manager would have oversight of) include an integrated community case management project, a nutrition project and health system strengthening work.
The successful candidate will have: • Relevant post graduate degree: MD, Nutrition, MPH • Demonstrated previous experience in program management • Previous experience working in a developing country, particularly in a nutrition and health program in a remote location • Excellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills • Ability to work in a challenging environment with few support services • Excellent organisational skills • Excellent written and spoken communication in English • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel • Willingness to work in a remote area of Southern Sudan, with common incidences of insecurity, and basic amenities • Patience and a sense of humour
