Project Manager Watsan Job in Darfur

Job Title: Project Manager
Duty Station: El Fasher, North Darfur, Sudan. Extensive travel in Al Lait, Um Kadadah, Malha, Mellit, Saya ana Kutum.
Reports to: Country Director
Supervises: WASH staff
Coordinate with: Field Coordinator, Administrator
Primary responsibilities
Overall coordination, planning, monitoring and implementation of the WASH project activities.
RESPONSABILITIES
To ensure the overall co-ordination, planning, monitoring and management of the WASH project activities
Management and training of the national human resources involved in the project
Networking activities with local partner, authorities and donors
Preparation of monthly reports on activities carried out and submission of amendments to the project, if required
Preparation of interim and final reports for the donor
Purchase and supply management
Elaboration of estimated monthly budget in collaboration with the administrator
Participation in the elaboration of new project proposals if required
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous significant work experience as a watsan expert
Previous experience in similar projects in developing countries within an international NGO
Mastery of ECHO guidelines
Relevant supervisory skills and guidance capacities in the implementation of projects and ability to support the national staff
Excellent English (written and spoken)
Excellent computer skills
Attitude to work under pressure and in hardship conditions
STARTING DATE: ASAP
CONTRACT LENGHT: 6 months
