A Chef with experience working at reputable hotel/restaurant in Uganda, and/or internationally is sought for an immediate position at The Kitchen Restaurant in Kampala , Uganda.
The Chef will effectively be in charge of a section the kitchen.
Key requirements as follows:
* The right candidate should have a diploma in Food Production.
* The ideal candidate must have excellent experience of at least 2 years as a Chef
* Must have good management skills, and watch over a staff in the kitchen, takes inventory, and performs hands-on work
* Important: Good PR and ability to comfortably liase with customers to ensure proper satisfaction with prepared meals; as well as managing catered events
* Must have ability to train junior staff and develop and execute employee manuals
* Ensuring quality and cost standards consistently kept, and menu planning and sanitary standards.
